The short version
- Islam Trivia Pro does not collect personal information. There is no account, no advertising and no third-party analytics or tracking code in the app.
- Your scores, progress, settings and purchases are stored on your device.
- On iPhone and iPad, if you sign in to Game Center, Apple handles your Game Center profile, leaderboards and achievements under Apple’s privacy policy. The Android version does not use Google Play Games.
- Purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never see your payment details.
Who we are
Islam Trivia Pro is published by AfriNetPro LLC, a Barro Services LLC company, and built by Chinguetti Labs. Questions about this policy go to info@chinguettilabs.com.
Information on your device
The app keeps your game progress, stars, levels, achievements earned, settings (such as language, timer and sounds) and which question packs you have unlocked on your device. This information is not sent to us. Deleting the app deletes it.
On Android, this progress and these settings are included in Android’s own backup to your Google account, if you have backup turned on, so they can be restored on a new phone. That backup is handled by Google under your Google account settings; we cannot see it.
Game Center (iPhone and iPad)
Leaderboards and achievements use Apple’s Game Center. When you are signed in, your scores and achievements are shared with Game Center and may be visible to other players according to your Game Center settings. Apple, not AfriNetPro, processes this information.
Reminders
Daily reminders are optional local notifications scheduled on your device. Turning them on does not send any information to us. On Android 13 and later the app asks for permission to show notifications only when you turn reminders on.
Purchases
The optional Pro upgrade and question packs are sold through the App Store on iPhone and iPad and through Google Play on Android. Apple or Google processes the payment and tells the app which items you own; we receive no personal or payment information.
Android permissions
The Android app asks for no access to your contacts, location, camera, microphone, photos or files, and it uses no advertising ID. It uses Google Play’s billing service for purchases, permission to show notifications (only if you turn reminders on), permission to reschedule reminders after the phone restarts, and vibration for haptic feedback.
Children
The app does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and its effective date. Material changes will also be noted in the app’s release notes.
